Google Workspace Growth
I currently work on the Workspace platform team focused on growth and monetization. It's fun work because we work fast, are data driven, and have a lot of freedom to run experiments to help reach our goals. My work has been to address churn reduction, seat expansion, premium value, and Gemini monetization.
Workspace’s Land & Expand Strategy
Owned the free enterprise edition of Workspace optimizing the product for acquisition, adoption, and retention.

Google Calendar
While based in Zürich, led Calendar's 'personal time management' efforts for four years, focusing on helping users capture their time accurately, analyze their calendars, and ultimately optimize their schedules.
Workspace’s Hybrid Work Strategy
During the pandemic, we had to quickly address the realities of the way people work. We landed on making it easy to surface where you will be working from, exposing the information across Workspace surfaces, and indicating how you intend to join meetings.

Helping Users Take Control of Their Time
Creating awareness of how you spend your time is the first step towards taking ownership of your schedule. Led the design for a completely new panel and information source in Calendar to help users do this.

Google Meet
At the start of the pandemic, the Meet team realized they needed to dramatically accelerate their roadmap. Myself and my cross-functional partners were pulled in to work on launching a much needed brand new feature.
Much Needed Feature for Educators
Breakout rooms was one of the top user needs as we shifted to remote education and work. We were brought in to build the feature in a new system and launched in record time.

Google Tasks
Worked on many initiatives to improve tasks across web and mobile, as well as extending and integrating into new surfaces.
Keeping Teams on Track
Extended existing tasks product into a shared chat space in a new combined view in Gmail. Created new primitive that allowed for assigning, due dates, and ambient awareness of work.

Google Drive
I jumped between multiple projects on Drive, covering topics like 1P/3P integrations, Drive for desktop, and the initial launch of the Google One program.
Drive Integrations
We worked on many integrations to help meet users where they were: either in Drive or in another product. Highlights include Slack, Microsoft Office, Google Photos, and Chrome OS.

GoFundMe
I was an early employee and the first designer at GoFundMe. It was incredibly meaningful work, and I am very proud of what I created.
Growing a Company from $0 to $2,000,000,000
As a small startup and as the only designer, I was responsible for all design across marketing, campaign creation, and donating. While I was there, we facilitated over $2B in donations.

About Me
My endless curiosity and sense of exploration has never let me stay in one place for a long time. Born in Saudi Arabia, growing up in Switzerland with Swiss and American parents, and educated in both North Carolina and California have ingrained in me a sense of my place in this world and perspective to try and help others. I see myself as a true creative in everything I do: from my day job to my personal pursuits, to being a parent and partner.
